Deco Stop Lodge is located in the heart of Luganville, which is the capital of the island of Espiritu Santo, the largest of the 83 islands of Vanuatu. Vanuatu is less than 3 hours from Australia by air. The capital, Port Vila, is located on the island of Efate. Solomon Airlines fly direct to Espiritu Santo from Brisbane. You can also fly into Port Vila, then catch a domestic flight to ‘Santo’. Deco Stop Lodge is conveniently only five minutes walk to the main street, shops and restaurants. Pekoa International Airport is only ten minutes drive away. All tours and activities around Santo depart from Luganville, and operators will happily pick you up from our front gate.
About Us
Deco Stop Lodge is owned and operated by Ben Healy and Kim Duncan, a couple with two teenagers, originally from Queensland in Australia. The name Deco Stop is a scuba diving term short for ‘decompression stop’.
Our mission statement:
Provide each guest with honest, professional, friendly and courteous service.
Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable and well maintained premises for our guests and staff.
Provide nutritional, well-prepared meals at a fair price, using only quality (and sometimes only seasonal) ingredients. Ensure all guests and staff are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. Share our little bit of paradise with guests and thank them for the opportunity to serve them. By maintaining these objectives we shall be assured of a fair profit that will allow us to contribute to the community we serve.
