A great oasis in Luganville. Very well-maintained, with a beautiful central area and gorgeous rooms. The owners and staff are all phenomenal and very kind. Feels like a resort but is located in the city, meaning you can walk to anywhere you want to go. Absolutely beautiful views over the water. Food and drink are both excellent.

Situated close to the town centre yet far away to enjoy a peaceful stay. If scuba diving is your thing - this is the place to stay as most dive centres will offer their pick up/drop off service. I will be back!
The Deco Stop is hands-down the best quality hotel in Luganville, Santo. The rooms are the nicest you’ll find anywhere in the town centers —spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and designed with boutique charm. I’d personally rate it four-star (just to be clear, this isn’t a Marriott and none exist in Luganville), but it’s easily the top accommodation in town.
The location is idyllic: on top of the hill, easily close enough to Luganville for convenience (10 minute walk), but far enough away to escape the dust and bustle of the Main Street, back streets and supermarkets. The setting feels peaceful and relaxed, with beautiful views and a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The food is exceptional—“top notch” even by the standards of private jet aircrew who stay here. Whether it’s breakfast, dinner, or a cool drink by the pool, the meals consistently impress.
Staff are warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to help. Tours to all the Santo highlights can be arranged easily, and if you’re lucky, you might even watch a PADI Open Water Scuba lesson with Allan Power Dive Tours while you enjoy your coffee or breakfast. Actually, why not book some dives yourself with Santo’s original and best operator on the world-famous SS President Coolidge? It’s the worlds best wreck dive, directly off the shore of Allan Powers dive site, we heard other guests rave about their experience, they booked to come back in six months to do more diving.
As the name implies, The Deco Stop caters perfectly for scuba divers, their buddies and families—but it’s just as welcoming for non-divers, business travelers, and government visitors.
A big thank you to Kym, Ben, and the whole team for making our stay so special and for looking after our passengers en route to LA. We loved the calm, friendly atmosphere—you made us all feel truly valued. Highly recommended!
Very nice property with such a cute decoration and beautiful views over Aore island. Kim and her staff are very welcoming and the staff speaks both English and French. The rooms are comfortable. I also recommend the tapas night on Fridays !
Friendly staff! Lovely breakfast, beautiful view! The cocktails taste amazing! Room is nice and has aircon! Free wifi in the pool area! Tasty food! Lovely and welcoming atmosphere!
A beautiful setting and stunning views across the Second Channel await you at Deco Stop. Nothing is too much trouble and Kim, Ben and the staff are so lovely and attentive to your every need. Relax by the pool or walk down into town and experience local food and handicrafts at the various stores and local market. Have stayed there many times and will be back.
An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Luganville! We stayed for only one night (due to a flight cancellation) but wish we had stayed for longer! Nice clean rooms, comfy bed, lovely staff and a magnificent view out over the harbour and beyond. A real 'breath of fresh air', up on the hillside and only 500m or so from the noisy and busy town centre.
We had the most amazing experience from when we stepped into Deco Stop Lodge were given a coconut refreshment and sat by the infinity pool.
The meals were fabulous with a great choice and had a lot of local ingredients.
Ben and Kim have built a very hospitable and welcoming place and the girls are beautiful.
Being situated a bit higher out of the township gives you brilliant views and a refreshing breeze, much cooler than down by the water.
Ben booked us on a fabulous experiences with going to Mt Hope and floating down the river with local guides, he made sure we got to see the most amazing places with WW11 history and stunning beaches.
Fabulous stay at the Deco Stop. Kym and Ben are extremely helpful to ensure a great stay. Staff were superb. Definitely best location with a great view to enjoy while having a relaxing meal
Kim and her team were amazing. The lodge sits overlooking the town and water with great views. The food and service were top notch and the staff made every effort to assist and make my stay comfortable. I would definitely come back again.
